General Information
There is a set of basic rules that you should follow so you can effectively use PLDA:
PDF files should be of press quality. It is important to have correctly specified the Trim Box.
Test your PDF at your printer’s RIP. Some of the RIPs still encounter problems when rastering PDF created directly from page-layout applications. Creating PDF with Distiller is still the most reliable way how to create PDF for printing.
When using Distiller, embed complete fonts. In Advanced options un-click the "Preserve OPI comments" option.
After the first sheet is printed compare it with the original PDF to eliminate errors that may be of any nature (imposition, overprints, stitching artefacts etc.).
Always ask your printer if you are not sure about the imposition.
